"Dr. Jean Lafayette is everything you need as a dentist. She not only has all the qualifications of a DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine), but as a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery), she is a qualified surgeon as well. After cracking a bicuspid over two years earlier that was surgically removed elsewhere, Dr. Lafayette was able to install a titanium screw into my jaw for an implant, complete with a flat titanium cap. The amazing thing is that although my jaw had become very thin at that spot due to the passing of time, she still was able to insert the screw straight into the middle without exiting the bone below the gum line. Although I thought I would need something for pain, she assured me that I wouldn't require it because my trauma was over two years earlier and this surgery was elective. She was absolutely correct! After a time, she installed the abutment and afterward the custom crown. The whole thing turned out beautifully, with absolutely no problems or pain along the way. Since Dr. Lafayette has four ways of installing an implant, you can be confident that she will positively be able to take care of your particular situation.
